Army Air Forces send home souvenir grouping assembled and mailed home by Lieutenant Nils Reinhold Hammarskjold of Headquarters, 31st Fighter Group. Rather than being a collection of unrelated German equipment assembled later, the grouping remains together inside the American T17 wooden ammunition crate in which Hammarskjold sent the souvenirs home. The crate retains
