This is the war chronicle service document of Sergeant Karl Geiger, 6th Battery, Field Artillery Regiment Nr. 49. These were put together after the war to commemorate the service of Imperial German soldiers as a reminder of their time serving the empire. Geiger first served in the regiment from 1907 1909 when conscription was mandatory for men of his age. When the war began, he re enlisted in the regiment on August 3rd,
